Washington timbers didn't do OYSA.
Many 05 clubs DA clubs didn't do fall league because of high school soccer (only Westside and FC bothered, and FC was mostly playing 8th graders)

Gothia Cup - $3k
Silver Lakes - $1100
North Carolina - $1400
Two trips to Seattle - $350
Club dues - $1800
ODP - $1300
Las Vegas - $750
And all for 04s who aren’t even being recruited this year. Lots of fun but several players who were recruited are now financially incapable of keeping up. Lots to consider.

Too bad UPDX is stuck in OYSA, as boys soccer is a more blue-collar sport than girls soccer, and there doesn't appear to be much interest in an Oregon BECNL division. (And since the Washington high school season is different for boys, joining the Washington league ain't gonna work).

Like the cost of ....

10-20-ish college coaches at each game

Some of the clubs' travel schedules are ridiculous. Traveling to Sweden can be a lot of fun, but there are plenty of teams in the US that can whip any Oregon team.
