BC is clearly #1. They play in the toughest conference against top competition. Any given year BU, UConn, Harvard might have a better record, but their level of competition is not close to the Eagles.

With that argument Pitt or Louisville would be great sides just because they play in the ACC. As you go to play daunting Stony Brook next week(what happened to Stanford?), answer me this, are you still smarting from the thrashing by Princeton, or have you conveniently forgotten it?

Scorpions logic. Doesn't work in college either. Being a bottom dweller in a good league doesn't mean that you are more competitive than other teams that aren't in that league.

It's a new year and the minor slip ups last year are history. BC is positioned for another successful season.....top team in New England, and NCAA run.

Polls mean squat. BC might currently be a little behind UConn, after beating them convincingly in pre-season, but as the season progresses, they will prove themselves. I hope the two meet in the second regional round of the NCCA tourney. My money is on the Eagles.

No risk of you getting in. Last I checked, Stanford was not in New England!

Claiming to be the best women's soccer school in New England is like asking who is the best women's hockey team on the west coast. Who cares! If your daughter wants to play National level soccer, don't play around here.

BC regularly, and last year UConn, compete at a national level. Occasionally a BU or Harvard lands in the top 25 as well.

And all 4 provide an excellent education.

BC is the dream school of most youth girls soccer players. Nationally ranked soccer, top 20 education, BC alumni network all can't be beat. Biggest hurdle is getting accepted.
