The changes are obviously better for the future, but it’s really going to take some time before really shows its merit. Right now they had to chose teams for a starting point...the poorer teams will be weeded out and FSPL will end up a pretty good mid level league.

Have DA and ECNL which will continue to cherry pick. Only way to make this worthwhile is ignore individual teams and pick 16 clubs that can field in each group, or 24 or 32 if you want to add additional divisions. Individual teams can move up and down, but clubs are determined. Winners and losers need to be picked on a club basis, otherwise FYSA as a whole will eventually be a feeder organization. Not fair if you are not one of the chosen clubs, but competition needs to be consolidated at the club level, not at an individual team basis where everything can change on a year to year basis.
