seriously - that girl has about 30 goals already in the DA. She's so far ahead in terms of scoring that it would look crazy to not invite her to the ntc.

Fifteen this year, nearly all from three blowout games with absurd scores. There are a few other teammates with similar numbers, and don't forget this in the NE GDA. I'm not saying she isn't good and doesn't deserve a look, but let's see how she squares up against all the CA players.

Do not look at number of goals scored too closely. Forwards pound the weak opposition to rack up the goals. You can find examples of games where this is permitted to go on to the tune of half a dozen or more goals for one player in one game.

She must be an effective player to have this opportunity. Good luck to her and all the kids.

Sounds like how most all staters get their awards. They should discount goals scored against sub .500 teams, then tally them up to see who stacks up.

I totally agree with the bloated numbers for some-not most- some all staters

the coaches know that info so it wouldn't be hard to find
there are however some coaches who sit their top players against weak teams- it may hurt those kids but my guess is they are good enough without the cheaps

They should just stop with the most goals nonsense for youth players. It encourages poor sportsmanship and completely ignores the rest of the positions out on the field leading to a skewed appreciation of the value of good soccer.

These forwards are not scoring by themselves.

              Signed...poster with a forward.

Welcome to how soccer is covered in countries without the culture. its all about the box score, little else. Go look at who wins the awards and gets all the ink. Same story.

                  Try 29, not 15.

Not according to the stats. Slow your roll dad. Putting down a beating on Seacoast is like putting one on Bridgeport Central. Could she score against the top team NEFC?

Anyone know why the OW U15 YNT player only has one goal this season? Hopefully not an injury but has been the key goal scorer in the past.

I don’t know? Just tell us what’s wrong with your daughter Mom. BTW: not a good idea bringing up your kid on here. We 👀 what your doing.

Yes, OW picked up Sporting and Ginga players last year that are scoring all of that age groups goals ..... Funny how they were not selected for any YNT training or evaluations. Hmmmmm.

I just read through this thread and im pleased to announce that these Oakwood parents easily the biggest slime in the state.

It’s the perfect storm of pulling in blue collar sporting kids and white trash from Ginga. Blend that with arrogant Glastonbury families and you have the perfect storm. Picking apart teenage girls out of jealousy. This might be the new low water mark.

CFC parents are pretty brutal but most of their bluster is over college commitment superiority. At least they have some tangible facts to work with

Everyone knows Rick and Dave are good coaches but really suck at identifying talent. The kids they choose to develop from a young age are the big oafs that can't play but can physically knock people off the ball.

Mostly they don't pan out and all that playing up and extra training did nothing at all. You think they would do something to improve how they select players based on their abysmal track record.

But they just keep making the same mistakes and then bringing in kids from the outside who outshine their brutes who have no soccer IQ. But they foul really good. What is that definition of insanity again?
