This is true. Everyone has to learn to live with the consequences of their choices. It's not the end of the world.

Always movement of players, no matter the academy or club. Living with the consequences or learning from the experience...glass empty or glass full.

And good players will always have a place to play.

This is the truth. All else is noise.

No one comes to your games. "Three people and a dog" per the thorns coach.

It's important to not worry about attendance at games and instead be concerned about focusing on soccer. If you go to the NWSL you will have games where barely anyone attends and that's ok.

Representing your school or community in rivalry games or playoffs or state championships is all exciting and creates long lasting memories but it is distracting from getting better.

Playing in a regional league representing Oregon and playing in national NWSL tournaments will also be exciting and memorable!!

There are no NWSL tournaments. And the GDA league sucks rocks.

The whole idea of representing your school or community is weak. If you want to be the best you have to forget about people coming to watch. That should not be a motivation.

Is it true the best national tournaments are creating GDA brackets? Surf, Dallas, Disney, etc?

It's way better to play in front of "six people and a dog" and be focused more internally on the little things that you need to do to get better. Eliminate distractions.

Yep! You will see the brackets on the websites.

Probably a good idea. You don't want DA teams getting destroyed by the best.

It's a moot point when you consider that the top non DA teams in California would go 10-0 and they do, on any DA or non DA or Ecnl team from Oregon.

It's also funny to think that the top 10 team in nor cal are better then anything from Oregon.

                            This isn't boys.

Girl talent is everywhere and all competing bodies can beat each other so college coaches will continue to look everywhere.

Oh, this pathway to the pro nonsense is just to get you sign up.

True and the other DA teams in CA are already full of better players and they'll actually be following GDA rules so they'll be training 4 or 5 days per week and concentrating on elite soccer while our Oregon Thorns teams will only be training 2 or 3 times per week and letting players play all kinds of other sports. Another missed opportunity for OR soccer girls.
