Player cards across leagues don't conflict so it is absolutely possible.

It is all about the card

If caught, player will be suspended and the team put on probation. They will lose their license if caught.

The rule is actually pretty vague.

1.Academy Players must meet all attendance and participation requirements, not just under the Development Academy Requirements but for the individual club, as well, for training and games for their DA team during the Academy Season. Failure to meet those requirements should result in removal from the DA team.

2.DA Clubs may not permit any Academy Player to participate on a non-DA team during the Academy Season. The only permissible soccer related reasons to miss Development Academy activities is National Team duty and Soccer Training Center participation.

The big giant loophole is really about missing DA practices or games. What the rule is really saying is, the DA cannot give permission for a player to play or practice with another team during the season in place of or instead of sanctioned DA team practices or games.

Basically, DA must be the priority. At a certain age, really what is the point but for younger kids the loophole can be driven through with the team bus. Governing bodies will not report on each other and the a US Club, DA and Youth Soccer Card, hell even Super Y, simply are not cross registered.

Not only does this apply with DA but other leagues as well. It is really about the "getting caught" and how your current club and coach feel about these things.

I am not advocating that anyone pursue this but it is possible certainly with a high level of risk.

Again, the qualifying factor here is how good your kid is on their team. If your kid is top 3, the club will absolutely look the other way. If she is not, they will caution you, pressure you, or force you to cease doing the other activities which they do not view as favorable to their own team.
