Soccer is About to Get Started in WA

Yes, WYS is about to kick off. Should be some available roster spots on Seattle United with all you dumb *sses that have been arguing recently that it’s too dangerous.

    Go crawl underneath a rock.

pretty optimistic since Inslee announced they will not be re-starting the phase system. No way in hell games are starting at the end of the month.

WYS return to play plan is no corner kicks lol, if they had put something together a bit more comprehensive we might actually have a chance to get it approved.

Imagine...just imagine if, in some crazy scheme that was actually concerned about the kids instead of six figure administrator and director salaries, WYS and PSPL agreed to play each other in super local leagues with no travel. No RCL D3 teams driving 6 hours to Idaho to beat Timbers Thorns by 7 goals. No “NPL” teams driving all over the state for a second tier league. Insane thought, but the teams that truly need to travel to find appropriate competition could...gasp, play up a year or girls could play the boys. Instead the plan was derrrrrp, No cOrNeR KiCKs and teh pArEnTs wOnT WaTch

For what it's worth -- NPSL just sent out a message saying that the governors office was receptive to the proposal laid out by WYS to allow youth soccer to move to Phase 3 for youth sports. They're expecting final approval later this week and hoping to begin the fall season on Oct. 10.

In terms of the email coming out from the NPSL, yes. I'm guessing that the gov's office wants to put their spin on things, add a few crazy restrictions, then see if we'll follow their rules.

We've heard rumors though that Seattle Parks still might not allow games until we're officially in Phase 3, so teams would either need to play away or find an alternate location outside of Seattle for hone games.

                It's on the NPSL website.

Have heard from multiple people within WYS, PSPL, and baseball that the meeting with Governors office went very well and soccer should start within a couple weeks.

So what are all the people that have been saying we can’t play soccer going to do? Will they actually crawl under a rock? My guess is no, their children will play, proving once and for all that this was never about children or high risk individuals safety.

                      Hypocrites!

They will play if Overlord Inslee says it’s ok. They are mostly incapable of independent thought and just need the government to assure them its safe and approved.

Buckle up, folks. The projection from the Vulgar Talking Yam cultists is peaking, matched only by their utter and complete lack of self-awareness.

“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a Feb. 7 call. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flus.”

“This is deadly stuff,” the president repeated for emphasis.
