The Washington NPL teams from the PSPL would murder any team in Oregon, including ECNL.

Don't know why people are trying to argue this. It is just somebody trolling the PSPL. They know the WA NPL is 2nd teir to the RCL which is 2nd tier to the WA ECNL.

Spokane also pulled their top RCL teams and put them in the GA. Surprised GA didn’t add a couple Oregon teams. GA has 2 from Spokane and 2 from Seattle. Oregon would make sense.

Weird that the Thorns Academy isn’t even doing GA anymore and is doing Ecnl. Why? Was good to have multiple options in Oregon.

Girls Academy league

A travel league for girls that Seattle Reign FC's academy is stuck in because all the Seattle ECNL clubs froze them out. Why the Thorns made it to ECNL when Reign did not, is an interesting question and a Thing That Makes You Go Hmm.

Of course, both leagues are ways to part parents and their money. Covid sucks, but one silver lining is that it has kneecapped travel soccer. Maybe parents will figure out that getting on airplanes to play soccer games isn't really a good use of time or money. Unless the club thinks enough of your DD or DS to pay the bills.

2 clubs from Oregon will be GA by next season. GA on the East Coast is as good or better than ECNL. On the West Coast ECNL is now dominate.

COVID and the ECNL season likely getting cancelled may be a good thing for the Thorns. I don’t know if they would be terribly competitive. GA is probably a better fit for the time being. Washington Timbers would probably be a decent fit too and travel wouldn’t be horrible.
