Cut Football at UCONN. They were literally the worst football team in the country. Get rid of football and all else will be good at UConn

UConn hasn't had a great AD since Lew Perkins. Bunch of flashes in the pan trying to trade up to bigger schools. The worst was the idiot that left for Michigan. That clown made a 100 bad decisions. This guy is just as bad

It would be sad, but what would happen to the yankee star who plays for UConn. One poor year, a Covid year with a shortened schedule then hit the transfer window. Transfer to another close school like Fairfield or sacred heart. Maybe after a year of CFC coaching, she could finally be an impact player in her senior year

The UConn killer on the loose was a football player for UConn. To think, that guy was in the honors program. Imagine the guys who are not in the honors program....scary. Get rid of the program!

Correct women’s soccer at UConn is irrelevant no interest whatsoever

Actually Einstein, the original post talked about cutting 8 sports programs and someone speculated women’s soccer could be one. Is this site called talking UConn football?

                Apology accepted!

That’s because the star of the program is 4’11 had no assists on the year and got benched half way through the season.

He had a history of mental health problems.
It has nothing to do with the school or football, but the football program has been plagued with bad apples for a long time. That happens with many football programs. ADs and schools are complicit in coddling them.

No it won't. I don't even see football getting dropped. Swimming? Yes. Sports that don't have much attendance to help with community spirit are tougher to justify. They also could slice scholarships across football and other sports. Just because a school is allowed a max doesn't mean they have to grant it. Makes it harder for getting talent tho

There should never be indoor track and outdoor track. Same sport, just allows athletes to double up and extend their season. Imagine if they created indoor football in the winter or outdoor basketball in the fall or spring for college athletes.

Brown has the most sports of all the Ivies and many if the programs are basement dwellers

There really isn’t a “separate” indoor track and outdoor track team. It’s just Track & Field. Check their site. PS - most college soccer programs also have a spring season.
