Warde ties stjs and got crushed by NC
Something has happened to those teams
Either NC got very good just this year or Warde got very bad just this week until I know which I won’t touch their games

As was discussed on a different thread awhile ago...never fall asleep on NC. They are the rare non-LL school in the FCIAC, and their soccer team is always the underdog against those bigger schools, but they usually do very well in their bracket in states despite being saddled with a bad seeding due to their tough reg season lineup. They are always good for a couple of upsets in FCIAC every year.

But 5-0 against FFW....yeah I have no idea.

Barry just can’t manage a team that has expectations. Imagine if he was the coach of st joes. At st joes, you are expected to win the fciac or state tournament or both every year. He is best at Staples where people expect excellence, but it is like horseshoes .....if you get close that is good enough.

I know their schedule has been easy so far, but 9-0 with 35 goals for and none conceded? Seems like the defense is in fact strong, but also seems like they can score. It is hard not to concede a goal against even the weaker teams when you give playing time deep into a bench.
