Please keep in mind they are playing against the most elite players in the world. Some of you are just such haters. Go move elsewhere.

Predictable posts in this thread that exemplify our fan bases lack of understanding.
Brazil played arguably their top team, we didn’t. Why? Because the 2 programs are in 2 completely different places right now. Should the US have selected a stronger group for last night and miss the opportunity to test the up and comers? Why on earth would they do that?
These posts, and the approach to most youth soccer in this country, show our inability to understand the importance of planning ahead. It’s not important that we go toe to toe with Brazil now, it’s important we test the players who’ll have to go to Costa Rica, Mexico, and Trinidad in 2 years time to fight for points in the hexagonal.
Mexico beat Germany in Russia, but they lost 4-1 yesterday to Uruguay. Does it matter? Do we know what their approach to the game was? How did the players respond to the new coach and vice versa.
We have so many armchair quarterbacks that are eager to project their remedial views that directly reflect our weak soccer culture.

This. Is. Spot. ON
Play the kids and give them experience for the future.
Also Brazil played their top team because they are gearing up for Copa America

I understand the youth part, but to think we have some A+ team of reserves we didn’t play last night is silly. The decade of players between Dempsey and what the USMNT fielded last night is a train wreck of wasted talent.
Sure you didn’t have Pulisic last night. But is Altidore all that much better than what we’re seeing with the youngsters? Bradley? Gonzalez? Johnson?

Come on.
Even though Spain dominated them with 70% possession.
1-0 , 2-0 means nothing maybe you should watch the game again and see which team is playing classic football and which one is playing youth soccer.
