Not quite sure what you mean. Seacoast has had DA for boys for a few (7?) years now, and they don't play NPL teams.

It's hard to rate DA teams because they can't play head-to-head, so it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Well, if you look at the head to head results of the last time Boys Seacoast NPL played GPSNH NPL this past spring at the NEP State Cup, Seacoast teams came out on top for the '05, '03, '02 age groups, and GPSNH teams came out on top for the '04, '01, & '00. Looking at these results, it seems the clubs are a fairly even match overall at the NPL level (all games were competitive, with the exception of the '00 game). Seacoast DA is a level or two above their own NPL teams, so it stands to reason that they would also be a level above the GPSNH NPL teams.

I guess I can see your point. Personally, I considered the GPS program better for boys, but hadn't considered their DA teams in that equation. Easy to forget about them since they don't show up in State Cups and rankings and all other league activity. Concentration on DA is more on the training than results (but of course they matter...why else are they keeping score?), but I would also have to agree that overall, those DA teams are, or should, be better.
