We were at tryouts. It was pretty sad. Just no one there. It's possible they might not have any teams.

Vale should have at least two teams. The teams that ZE was coaching at Sporting this year should be coming over. Outside of that, we'll see what Vale can cobble together.

Vale will NOT have more than 2 teams in the fall and by Fall of 2020 will not field any teams. Until then they will force out a disjointed product and field teams made up of players playing up to create the illusion they have teams, all this just to try and prove a point that they know soccer. by 2020 they won�t have the money to pump into a program that is not making anything.

Question is, if JW's kid doesn't have a team to play for at Vale, where does he go to play?

Sad if I where the dad and left sporting I'd swallow my pride and still have my kid play on his very successful 2005 sporting team

You should never follow a coach to another club that's just dumb. If any of the sporting parents actually fall their that **** then they really don't know what's best for their kids. That would be stupid to ruin a already successful team.

Still trying to figure out why they are offering tryouts on the weekend. Are they trying to go after kids that don't currently play, or do they think kids don't have games on the weekend?

They are doing it at a time when kids are tired after their games. That's a really bright idea. Evaluating players when they're fatigued.

They don't care who the players are, believe me. Anyone who shows up is offered. As other posters have mentioned, no one has been to these tryouts. They'll have one, maybe two teams if mixed ages and genders. They will take ANYBODY.

Seems like RC brought two CFC teams with him to Sporting the other night.
