USYS Nationals - big whoop. That's tied for 3rd tier with US Club Nationals behind 1st - ECNL, and 2nd - GDA. To make it a bit clearer for the slow Oregon types, ECNL Championships are like State Cup, GDA Championships are like Presidents Cup, and USYS/USC Nationals are like Founders and Rec Cup. -

The Oregon teams from any of them would lose to the worst of any of those Leagues. That's a fact and it happens.
Top colleges go to all of them and they would even tell you that. To their you even were told there is a hierarchy is a sham. Top college coaches will tell you that it's pretty messed up right now. Ecnl is was hit hard by the DA and USYS has teams that would beat everyone.

Top 15 clubs have teams scattered in all three leagues
Top 15 clubs don't play teams from Oregon with their best teams on any platform. Never been good enough for Ecnl, DA doesn't have all the best teams or players, USYS is inconsistent in quality but has the most members.
Top 15 clubs are 10-0 on any team from Oregon minus one in the past 10 years.
Top 16-25 clubs are scattered across USYS ECNL DA and a few US Club.
Teams 300-400 rank in the county could even have a chance against top Oregon teams.
It has become more about who you can associate with rather than how good the team is. As a result, the clubs who have decided to focus on appearance, they have plummeted in product.
Fc Portland continues to lose coaches and the teams don't play the way they used to.
CU isn't even close to the quality to what THUSC was before ecnl and they lost their best coach TA.
Thorns is as predictable in product and quality as the Trumps tweets. They haven't even earned a place to be taken seriously. To demand players from alliance clubs to putting out subpar teams is telling.
If the teams decided to compete against each other instead of flying 5 hours to evade each other you'd find the teams would be better, cost less, less turnover, more top 25 teams.Comment

What are you attempting to prove with this post? It seems very self serving. There are a multitude of reasons that players choose a club. Perhaps some players are lacking talent to play Ecnl. On the other hand, some may feel like it is the Ecnl program or coach that is lacking talent. Personally, the 2 Ecnl programs just aren't a good fit.
