You don't need to apply to all, just google 'scholarships for freshman at xyz school' the data at the school website is listed by academic standing (gpa, sat, act, class rank) and is Very accurate and sources like CollegeFactual also confirm those numbers. 50-75% discounts are typical at the privates, it's a business and the data is public. Public school aid is paltry in comparison. Then take into account instruction where the big state schools may have 50 kids taught by a grad student vs 20 taught by a professor and the void grows.

Most kids go to school within a couple hours of home. They want family and friends to watch them play.

CFC United playing the Stars one would think on occasion someone from UConn would show up. Some of the top talent in year's past were never approached by UConn. They need to get more involved at the club level and be visible to the top ECNL and GDA clubs in the Northeast.

Which club do you now think just got a pipeline to UCONN???

Yes, this is the perfect solution to bringing back Uconn to prominence. Recruiting a bunch of local Oakwood kids.
Geno lives locally as well. Perhaps he should keep it local and focus on AAU kids from Glastonbury.
The one thing about the Oakwood crowd is that you never disappoint.
I'm now convinced that a u12 parent is leading the charge behind these delusional posts.
Do you realize that MR has lived in Glastonbury for years and has been the primary recruiter for the last several years.
They have a insanely large roster and take local kids every year.
Another path to Uconn is by getting a 3.0 gpa and being mid pack in your HS class
