    Valor FC dispute with WYS

Hearing that valor FC is the subject of a violation of WYS rules for holding there tryouts at Petrovitsky Park in renton. This park is in the greater Renton association boundary. It wasn’t an issue for kent utd to play there because they were select.

Valor FC can’t seem to get out of there own way. Heard they lost tons of players to pac and MRFC. What a terrible roll out for a new club.

Horrible all around. They are going to get smashed in the RCL right? Also will probably get smashed by competing PSPL clubs this summer and then hemorrhage players next year.

They wills get dominated in rcl. Probably won’t last more than a year or two. Poor leadership and coaching.

With the teams leaving for ECNL, the RCL needs teams to replace them for the B/C/D teams of those clubs to play. Nothing like taking mediocre select teams and moving them to the bottom division of the RCL. Have fun going over the pass in November...

Not sure how the boundaries go, but that part of Renton is in the Kent school district boundary and there's a Kent Middle School (Northwood) a few blocks east of Petrovitsky. I'm guessing that Pac and Southlake want exclusive access to the fields.

            boundary

Although the assigned boundaries often follow district lines, in this case they do not. Fairwood (including Petrovitsky Park) are absolutely within the South Lake/Renton boundary.

if that is the case why in the world would Valor be able to hodl their try outs at Petrovisky Park?

I'm sure no one at King County Parks cares about which club boundary their park is in and is happy to take Valor's money. Probably just a dumb move on their part instead of holding the tryouts at Wilson or somewhere else in Kent or MV.

Not surprising about the leadership of Valor. Previous thread showed how they stole new logo from club in Colorado where Director worked. There team formation numbers are low on there “Premier “ side. They will have more select teams then premier. Several age groups didn’t even form a team. Several former board member kids left for other clubs. What does that tell you? Ive got friends inside the club that say Valor took a loan of $250K to pay all the Directors. WYS is going to take this club over sooner then later. This club is doing some weird stuff. No board of directors, no by laws to name a few.

When will you get it through your head no one cares about Valor! It is obvious you are somehow tied to MRFC and trying desperately to throw mud at another club. Get a life.

Valor soccer is suing a former coach who left to coach at MRFC. Stating he recruited players to leave and is in violation of his previous contract with Valor/MV. So a bunch of 9 year olds want to play for a particular coach, leave your new club and the answer is to sue. Definitely sounds like your club is about the players. Not to mention spending the clubs money on something like this. The very sad sad side of adults running youth sports.

Unreal. Do you have the case number it was filed under?

I watched the Valor tryouts and the numbers were very poor and the standard of coaching was poor at best . Who in their right mind would pay thousands of dollars to be coached by Kent United select coaches ? I also watched the Southlake tryouts and they too had a very poor turnout and the level of coaching at the tryouts was just as poor ! The levels from premier to select soccer is below average with very poor coaching stealing a living out of the game .

Is Valor a new entity or a DBA? It looks to me like they are a new entity which would make me believe that any previous contract, unless very well constructed, would be void. Given how they seem to be operating, I highly doubt that their contracts were airtight. Regardless, as previously mentioned, this (if true) is utter trash. It is hard to imagine a more stark illustration of a Club’s true motivations. Can’t see this endeavor lasting more than one year, assuming they can even make it that far. It also appears to be a large blunder on WYS’ part by making this an RCL Club. In my opinion, it shows the absurdity of the “closed” RCL model.

                              Valor suing former coach

Anyone have an update on Valor’s attempt to sue one of their former coaches for “taking” teams when he left there?
