More facts:
-NE Surf and RI Surf not the same but the coaches go on MA and RI TS to trash other clubs.
-RI Surf is made up of gps, Bruno and stolen NEFC and bayside teams and players plus a whole lot of inexperienced players causing large rosters with a mix of talent.
-NE Surf is nothing compared to Bolts and Scorpions.
-Coaches at NEFC central Are best...better than any Surf coach.
- RI surf parents unhappy driving to CT.

Prediction RI Surf will get absorbed by NE Surf. They will never get to ECNL.
They will lose great players they stole end of year.
They will become insignificant soon.

You can’t expect to be successful and last long when you steal teams, coaches, bad mouth clubs, ask parents to drive hours to practice and mix quality of players.
Surf is town soccer with pretty uniforms.

Thank you! 10000% agree! I''ve said the same things on the 75 other "surf posts" by their coaches. Hopefully immigration will come after a few of them soon enough. In Mass. Surf is a utterly useless club.

Town travel soccer better than Surf. They don’t steal coaches or make parents drive hours to practice. Club soccer is already a pyramid scheme but Surf takes the cake. My daughter now plays D1. Guess what? We avoided all clubs until she was u14, then she went to tryouts and played for NEFC. Those of you stressing and fighting about clubs should keep three things in mind.
1. If your kid goes D1 it’s because of them. They wanted it and they had talent, not you. You can’t make a kid a D1 player it’s all on them.
2. Not many great clubs in the Northeast. The only three I’d consider for a serious player are NEFC, FC Stars, and Scorpions on the girls side. Everything else is travel town soccer.
3. Don’t quit town soccer in the young years to chase clubs. Clubs will tell you your kid has something special to get your money. But a good town team is fun for your kid. The coaches are usually volunteers so they often care about your kid (not your money). No need to skip your town soccer team at all. Add a club later on in high school if your kid wants but save money and time until then.

💯 I agree with this person. These coaches come from over seas to coach here because they can’t get a job there. It’s a terrible product when think about it. More and more college coaches can’t stand club soccer as it’s just watered down talent everywhere with no common goal.

Surf is doing a much better job of selling product and customer acquisition. There aggressiveness in getting games in at this difficult time has been far better than the competition, weather it be tournament participation or especially league play. At this wierd time, getting games in will pay off bigtime, especially if they play with real soccer rules.

Someone clearly has a beef with the club. Maybe it's legit, maybe it isn't. It's a franchise operation so like any other franchise company the quality is driven by who owns it locally. Like most on TS take this thread with a grain of salt. It's easy to bash clubs and coaches anonymously.

Surf is such a mixed bag because they did come here with a plan to steal entire teams and coaches. So I could never be part of an organization like that. But as this poster said they are doing better than many clubs on creating game and playing opportunities but keep in mind there is a ton of driving for the parents. The clubs in NEP NPL they are the ones who got screwed this fall. Not their fault but they will lose players.
