Ok south shore select parent. Good attitude. I get it though if SSS doesnt play During Labor Day why should any other kids get to play.

After so long, that is a surprisingly weak tournament!

You use the U13 bracket for your argument yet the #1 ranked team in Mass is in it along with 3 more of the top 5 ranked teams in that age group. Oh yeah, did i also to mention that the champion from the NEP final four is also in the same bracket. Not sure how thats the definition of weak.

                    Juventus Academy Boston
                    Seacoast United
                    Western United Pioneers
                    NE Surf
                    RI Surf

That's five right there, not including teams in the lower divisions. I get it though, it's a small tournament and you have something against that. Fine by us. Enjoy your weekend at home.

Juventes team is the formed GPS RDL team that dominated mass competition. WP won the U-12 bracket beating GPS south Shore team which is now Surf Ma. Looks like great competition with highly skilled teams at that age bracket. Should have picked a different bracket as an example.

Wow lots of angry SSS parents out in force tonight. No worries, when they are home doing nothing just enjoy the tournament. Its not everyone’s problem that they aren't playing in a Labor Day tournament. Weird don't you think? Anyway, dont get worked up about a few angry parents who have paid thousands of dollars....for??

And keep in mind this tournament is still significantly bigger (more than double the size) of what it is in prior years. Granted, it's still nowhere near the size of other Labor Day tourneys in previous years.

There are 8 in the top bracket, 6 in the middle and 5 in the bottom. Not sure how you’re reading three.

Six of the eight boys U13 teams in the tournament are in the new USYS New England Conference (so the top EDP tier). The only team from that conference missing is CFC. Looks like same thing for five of the U14 teams. Should be a pretty good indicator of the level of competition that can be expected in EDP.
