    No unfortunately not. They were supposed to have high school soccer this fall but the school district voted to move soccer to fall 2 last Thursday. His club he plays for now is not offering a fall team because they are playing hs soccer in the town the club is in. So unfortunately here we are

        See about signing up with a different club for just Fall that is offering HS players options. Don’t waste the season.

          For a fit person/kid, it takes less than 30 min to run a 5k. It helps build aerobic conditioning as well as leg muscles without cutting into the time of the anaerobic and technical training that everyone has mentioned. For any kids who play midfield endurance is key. This can help when paired with sprinting/HIIT and footwork. It doesn’t have to be an either-or scenario. Look at pros - most hit the treadmill on the regular.

            Yes definitely look at the positive of the situation. A lot of schools are offering no sports. At least he/she will be able to get out and be in a team environment with there peers

              Get on a club that is in full training right now through the fall. That's what you should be doing.

                There are no 05 club teams playing a fall season. Find another club for a month of training with younger players 2 nights a week max and have to sit out for games and pay x amount? Sounds like time would be better spent with x country and conditioning and having a private soccer coach once a week if possible and work on technique and touch on the weekends.

                  Sure there are. My daughter is an 05 and they've had two games so far, and have 4 more planned. Not to mention 4x a week training and a handful of scrimmages that are ongoing.
