It’s amazing that the Revs take the other clubs “best” players every year and then lose or tie the clubs that they recruit from. It really highlights their ineptitude on so many levels.

But if the coaching staff were stronger, the program stronger, they wouldn't have to do that. It starts at the top and all else trickles down from there. They're the only MLS program for a few hundred miles. They should have kids flocking to it and not have to go begging for players.

Many NEP players are the Revs first choice. Probably RDS regulars.

Incompetent management, sub-par coaching, ghost scouting (unless you do RDS) and bottom of the barrel players: perfect recipe for success!

Every year they pick up 1-2 players that were trained elsewhere and are even already committed and claim them as their own. Makes their commitment page look good.
