That is beyond clueless. Do you honesty think we have the best medical care in the world? We aren't even in the top 10. The only thing Canadians come here for are some meaningless elective things. Almost all of Europe is ranked higher than the US.

And you just hit on the problem with Canada’s system. Good for life or death. Not so good for annoying and difficult things that aren’t life or death. Tear your ACL? Don’t expect to get surgery anytime soon. There are some major negatives in Canada and Europe. To close your eyes to that is silly and disingenuous.

Ok internet boy. You are the problem with people today. You think you can look everything up on the internet and your little illusion is maintained.

Try to critically think of the issue for once and not just search the web for a headline.

Of course more people go travel to countries like Mexico and India for cheaper procedures. Dental, plastic surgery, etc. But the mentioned Canada and England come here to pay more than their free healthcare whereas Americans are travelling to pay less. Why? Keep searching. Maybe if you try bing instead of google it will tell you?

Obviously you actually never really talked to someone from Canada or you would know how wrong you are.

You do know that the British also have private healthcare, right?

Yes and I know people that live there. Do you? Do you know when ever an American is sent there for work they get special privilege to jump the queue so they actually get seen by a doctor? Do you know when you take your newborn or toddler to the doctor for medication they don't actually weigh the baby to get the correct dose but just ask you how much the kid weighs?

I can go on and on, what can you find out on the internet from your basement?

Not true. They just don't care as much about your boob job.

But isn't the life and death stuff really kinda the point? $1200 for a $15 dollar EpiPen is criminal.

But, go to Canada or Western Europe and please report back about the Post Apocalyptic, Dystopian Hellscape they are living in.

Been there, tons of times and worked for Canadian companies. Everything is great with their healthcare until you need to use it. Unfortunately I have had coworkers kids that have died in that system for poor care that would never have happened in the States.

And before you go look up on the internet and see well their life expectancy is greater or mortality rate is lower so it must be better. Try to think why?????

What is their demographic? Do they have tens to hundreds of thousands of illegals crossing their border? What if you just compared them to a a similar demographic? Oh wow they plummet and the US looks pretty good.

We take care of everybody here and then send you the bill. In Canada you get in line and wait. One of the biggest reasons why our healthcare costs are out of control is because illegals, h1b visas and green card holders go to the emergency room for everything. They are not refused treatment and much of what they go for can be done at a doctors office at a way lower cost. But this is how they do it where they are from. You ever work with h1b visas from India then you know what I mean.

What no links? You can't find anything on the internet that says in the US during ER visits vitals are not taken? Is this too much thinking and not enough googling for you so you have to make **** up?

                          LOL

Ok, well enjoy getting a virus at Walmart, McDonalds or the grocery store because the staff can't take time off because they are sick.

Yup, when there are no other options but to go to an Emergency Room (THE MOST EXPENSIVE OPTION IMAGINABLE!!!) for the flu because they can't deny treatment it runs costs for everyone up.

But the deeper pathology is that you think a persons citizenship status should determine their level of suffering when sick.
