Yes, teams are matched up by prior results accordingly, but you will not find brackets anywhere. It’s one long list of the schedule by age group (as I stated originally). Coaches cannot look at an ECNL showcase schedule and decide to go watch the “top brackets”.
Yes, the coaches are all idiots. I have a choice to watch 2 kids from SoCal Blues or the Slammers play D'Feeters or Dallas Sting but they will somehow choose to go watch 4 kids in a the FSA vs FC Wisconsin .... woot woot! They soccer of all levels ... they must want to puke when forced to watch the low division games.

She will be behind a team that can't move the ball effectively or seamlessly into the other end, plays lazy defense, doesnt communicate and has a coach that call out the keepers and has them constantly paralyzed with fear. Noone can play under those circumstances especially a 17 year old keeper who already has pressure on her from the nature of the position.
She better be a wonder women because she will get hammered with shots and open breakaways and then when they inevitably go in she will be the scapegoat with a nasty coach and crew. Heaven help her.
Dad, your daughter was a good kid. She was probably not offered the ECNL roster spot because of you being a major pain in the azz. Don't go throwing shade on the other players and parents on your way out. The current players and parents like eachother and all get along

Here we go again .. so sad that the axe is still grinding with a certain few adults in this crowd-

Why not step back and let your kid navigate their own pathway without your venom and spite -

Being a team player with a winning attitude, grit, mental fitness and humility all have more to do with your kids success and opportunity at next level than any ability you as a parent may have in trying to steer pity or throw shade-

FYI CD - Not “fat mom” or “coach”

when in doubt, blame the keeper.

So many field parents say stuff like that. There's ten other people on the field making mistakes before a SOG happens. GK make mistakes, they're not perfect, and some shots are impossible no matter how good they are. But a team shouldn't be letting it get to that point

Sounds like all games should end 0-0 in your world.

not OP and don't know these teams, but if field players doing their jobs then GK should be very bored back there. Sounds like field players not getting it done on these teams

Agreed. I played keeper for many years and the last thing I'd say to my backline before first touch is "Remember boys: No shots"
