Correct just because you have dads involved doesn't mean you can't have a good situation, unless the dad helps to broker a BRD, is on the board of the club, sees that the team is not having practices, manipulates playing time, manipulates who makes the team (keeping all kids off the team that would go to either of the public HS in the district), and abuses that power - that is NOT a good situationOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

It really should be very simple. If you are employed by the club (as a coach, DOC, or any other position) or serve as an officer or board member of the club, you shouldn't be able to coach or be a manager of your own kid's team.
