Weston FC 2013-14 Player Selection, Registration, Uniform Sizing and Orders
PLAYER REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
After tryouts, players who are selected for a team will receive a telephone call from the coach offering them a place on a WFC team. If they accept, they must log in the Online Registration link using their GotSoccer account to complete their registration and choose one of the payment options; either payment in full or installment payments. If a credit card is used, there is no need to attend a registration time, unless you want to try on and/or order a uniform. If payment is being made by check, then you must attend one of the registration times shown below. The player has to have signed up for tryouts first and accepted by the club before they can register.
NOTE: IN gotsoccer try to avoid using the family accounts to register as it is causing some unexplained problems if not used correctly. Use the individual players credentials to login and only login through the registration links that we provide on our website only. Registering in the family account does not tell you what you are registering for. Importing players into the family accounts merges them with their siblings, to add additional siblings, add another player, do not import. Do not create duplicate or new accounts if you already have one.
The list of selected players for the 2013-14 Season will be posted on the website beginning Monday, June 3, 2013. Teams will be posted as the age groups are finalized. Please click on the tryout link and then click on the appropriate age group to view the team lists.
Players may try on uniforms and order them through Soccer Max at the applicable registration times or directly at Soccer Max.
Registration will be in the Community Center, at Weston Regional Park.

STEPS TO TAKE AFTER BEING SELECTED:
STEP ONE:
Everyone must register online for the upcoming season, regardless of whether you registered for tryouts or not. If you have accepted an offer to join a team, then you must register online now. If payment has been made online please remember to print your receipt and a copy of your Registration Successful page and keep for your records. Maqke sure to upload a recent color passport picture of the face only no larger than 300 x 300 pixels or 2cm x 2 cm. The purpose of online registration is to complete the required paperwork electronically and to provide the Club with your current information. Doing this will insure that you are included in the communication loop for e-mail, news, bulletins, and other important, pertinent, club information.
STEP TWO:
Uniforms - sample uniforms will be available to try on and order during the registration evenings and during the Weston FC nights at Soccer Max. Please take advantage of this opportunity to determine your correct size as changes cannot be accommodated after the uniform has been ordered.
STEP THREE:
Coaches or team managers may schedule mandatory team meetings to meet with the players/parents.
NO paperwork will be collected as we are going paperless. Only players paying with checks, or who want to try on and/or order uniforms, need to attend the registration dates.
Document Requirements for New Players:
Copy of Birth Certificate
Any new player who is 12 years old or older, with a foreign birth certificate, who was not previously registered with FYSA is required to obtain international clearance. To do this you must complete the International Clearance Form(s) and submit it with the required paperwork. If you have done this previously there is no need to do it again.
Players who are paying their registration fee by check, in installments, must also turn in the completed and signed WFC Player Installment Payment Agreement form with their checks.

Directions to Soccer Club Park (aka Nob Hill Park):
From the south via I-95, I-75 or 595:
1. Take 595 to Nob Hill Road. If you are coming from I-75 you will need to go east on 595 to Nob Hill. If you are coming from I-95 you will need to go west on 595 to Nob Hill.
2. Go north on Nob Hill Road. You will pass Broward Blvd and Sunrise Blvd.
3. The park will be about 1/4 mile north of Sunrise Blvd on the left side. U13 teams and older should turn into the first entrance. U12 teams and under should go to Sunset Strip and make a left, then make the first left into the park. For tryouts go into the u13 and older entrance.
From the north via 95, the Turnpike or Sawgrass:
1.Take I-95, the Turnpike or the Sawgrass to Sunrise Blvd.
2.If you took 95 or the Turnpike, head west on Sunrise until you get to Nob Hill Road. You will pass University and Pine Island Road. If you took the Sawgrass, head east on Sunrise until you get to Nob Hill Road. You will pass Flamingo Road and Hiatus.
3.Go north on Nob Hill Road.

Elite Soccer Academy Tryouts
Elite Soccer Academy Tryouts will be held at Memorial Park in Lake Worth. Take I95 to 6th Ave. South. Go east to first signal which will be "A" Street. Park is on corner of 6th Ave. South and "A" Street. We are an academy based club with a focus on total player development.
