Has anything changed with FSA and CFC 17's

Same old song. CFC can't stop goals and FSA can't score. 4 weeks to get it right and then the s#$%show starts again.

    CFC cannot score either.

What talent is available in the state that either club could bring in at this point and have an impact? There isn't any. Stick a fork in 'em, they're done.

Not a parent of a kid on either team. Can't we wait until the season starts before anyone passes judgement?

At this age it's unlikely there will be significant changes unless there's an substantive infusion of talent. At this age most the talent has been identified and already in the various clubs around the state.

Haven’t we had enough on this topic? Why do we keep posting the same stuff on 10 different threads. Nothing better to do with your time?

Quite a combination then - can't stop goals and can't score

Are you new to TS? The FSA vs CFC debate rages every year. FSA always loses, but they will never admit it. Just ask FSA guy.

Mostly true, in very close games, which CFC will never admit either. Tallest midgets debate.

Tallest midget? Does FSA know what a Champions League division is? Or do they just see all the coaches packed on sidelines to CFC games while walking on their way to the Showcase division games...Um I mean the NEW Open Cup division!

Just stating the facts. The U17 FSA team went to Champions League as U15 and did not lose a game while there. Did not win the bracket based on point differential. (You can look it up) Last year the team was missing 2 critical players, the attacking mid and one of the starting forwards. This year, both starting forwards are not in the lineup - one due to broken leg and the other now injured with a second injury for the season in a row. The team has yet to get back to their original healthy form as they were in post season play. The attacking mid from last years ACL injury returning to the lineup this year. This team, as with CFC's, is a house of cards - when key starters are missing, it's hard to put together a winning record. CT simply does not have enough girls in the state for that deep of a bench - even with CFC's farm system. CFC U17's have not made Champions League yet.

FSA has become a mediocre puppy mill of soccer development on the girls' side, which is to say improved a bit since the SuckerPlus days but not ever going to go anywhere. Their future aspirations include improved parking. CFC do better, but that's because their coaches are just better connected, accents or no. However, in comparison to OW, who got stuck with an inferior GDA model, CFC and FSA are just expensive, low quality alternatives. Now, I get many of you fanbois will disagree with me, and that's fine. After it's all over, after your kid goes to college or trade school, gets that worthless partial athletic scholarship to the local community college, you will come back on TalkingSh!t and post that I am correct. You're welcome.

Nah, FSA ECNL U14s, U15s, U17s better than CFC. OW a distant third.
