Because there are FYSA bylaws that they may not be able to get around. I can tell you for sure they cannot get FYSA affiliation on their own unless they merge with another club.

Why don't you state the bylaw, the one someone else listed doesn't hold water as the fields are within 15 miles, so try something else. Then please do tell what reason you know for sure they can't get FYSA affiliation. You just keep saying that you know they can't but never tell a reason.

Results: Pretty much as predicted, too much backstabbing and failure to support the overall goals of the organization. Some giving it at least lip service to (or perhaps buying into) the "OC" way are still there - those that didn't are gone. HM was loved or hated even then.

And now he says - no refund if we don't get passes or ECNL - You guys that believe stuff that's not in writing will be back here justifying why its better or complaining. The smart ones will hold out for more information.

What doesn't hold water? You can't become a club within 15 mikes of another club. Any new club is locked out of The Orlando and surrounding areas.

You had better try again, there is 15 miles between OCYS and FKK, and between FCA and FKK, so that leaves Maitland who FKK has a working arrangement with.

They are happy to play in a league that does exist if ECNL doesn't stay with OC such as FPL - where will FKK play? Against each other and their two affiliate clubs - wow thats terrific! If and that's a huge IF ECNL pulls out noone in Central FL will have it until new applications are filed for '14-15 season. We all know that ECNL is staying at OC so either way for us its a win win - for FKK not so much.

So, if they were to lose ECNL and the girls were happy to play FPL, what about those girls that were going to play FPL, they are now the White team, are they also happy to not be playing in the FPL and instead the CDL.

Why a big issue? Central Winds, Lake Island, Ward Park, etc are all well less than 15 miles from Maitland. Where else would they play?

There is more to the bylaw then just within 15 miles.

Yeah right. There is going to be some very unhappy parents and players when the ECNL carot gets yanked and all the players get pushed down a level. OC should be prepared for this backlash as they dealt wi it all last year. Remember laddies, dodge and cover and blame the Jamaican. It worked for you last year!

The OC Koolaid spin team has been working overtime to deflect attention from the utter failures of the Club.

The thread topic is "Why did OCYS change ECNL ID Camp?"

The undisputed answer is "because they are forbidden by the league from holding a tryout for ECNL until ECNL determines they will still be part of the league. They received a deficiency letter (some say probationary) from ECNL and have yet to satisfy the League that the club meets league standards".

That's it. Undisputed by anyone. And because it's such an embarrassment, OCYS desperately tries to change the topic away from the facts. They post about Hue, they post about FKK, they post about passes, they post about DA...

But they can't escape the elephant in the room- they have not performed to league standards and they are in danger of losing ECNL.

Orlando has proven itself to be "soccer-stupid" and "soccer-spoiled".

The absolute worst collection of "my way or the highway" SoccerDads and SoccerMoms anywhere.

Ironically, a high percentage of these youth soocer club-associated soccer-stupid adults in Orlando don't know jacksh*t about the sport.

Orlando will continue to be "mickey mouse" youth soccer.

I'll give you one thing- you're the most conssitent poster on Talking Soccer. Anyone you disagree with is "soccer stupid". So, I'm wondering- since you're presumably the only person who knows anything at all about youth soccer in Orlando, and since you like to call everyone else names- you must be "soccer smart" and quite successful as a coach or DoC in a youth club. Otherwise you'd be wasting your vast talent and knowledge.

So, how about giving us all a synopsis of your accomplishments in youth soccer? Let's see your credentials. You don't have to identify yourself- just give us a list of all the success you've had that entitles you to call everyone else "soccer stupid".

OCYS is losing ECNL because they will not be able to workout partnership with HM.

Why would HM do it anyway?

Really, who cares at this point? It's better that Central Florida doesn't have ECNL with all of this mess going on. HM, EQ and OC were all destined to fail with ECNL. If the so called teams stay together and go to FKK the results won't be any better than this unless they play GCF. At the end of the day it's still the same talent.

Oh wow you figure it out. Could you please since you are a OCYS supported tell the Coaches from OC to do that. I remember last year Bobby H and Bill E recruting and convincing players with the talent to play ECNL so they would keep them in their purple team and they did.! Was that the right thing to do? They actually didn't these good players were playing ECNL, they just care about them selves and their teams ....win win win win at whatever cost....many coaches at OCYS did not support ECNL and now they wanted back. How ironic is that!!!

Blame those guys if you want but I'm a parent who chose for my child to play purple after being asked to play ECNL. Neither of those two ever tried to sway my daughter or her friends because they didnt have to.
