They were exclusively ECNL. Thought they would bring on the GDA but that did not work out 1 year and done. Cannot split talent pool and spread thin across two platforms. Parents who wrote checks because there kids did not make ECNL club vaulted at the chance to brag their kid is with GDA and its now back to NPL and below. There is a place for everyone and its ok? Don't be scared to talk to your kids about the real world out there they will be in it soon enough.....

Except they will have two ecnl teams - so not back to npl. Don't want to lose players by ******* them off.

How can there be two ECNL teams in the same age group in a club?

Oakwood will now have to drive to play All these former NPL clubs but Penn Fusion

Instead of GDAP it should be NPL +.

Where are they going to go? They're stuck. They were NPL players before and still are. No spots left at CFCU and many wouldn't crack a roster anyway, and do you want to go to FSA? Honestly it's a toss up between those two.

I'm sure Oakwood is sharing all this information with their parents to keep them informed. Especially with tryouts coming. Unfortunately, the student-athletes at the older ages at Oakwood are paying the high price for this mess.

The smart ones will move to the NPL teams and give up the farce. Might as well enjoy your last 1-2 years of HS. It is the kids who get screwed in all of this, but sadly it was widely predicted.
