This is a ridiculous and pathetic response. Be careful your jealousy is showing.
The vast majority of YNT players and D1 players right now came up through ECNL. Just because an ECNL team moved over to GDA last fall doesn’t instantly make it better and everything else “lowly”. There are D2 programs better than D1 as well. You simply don’t know what you are talking about so maybe you should stop.

ECNL is history. Either wise up right now or after it is too late.

lol which GDA club posted this? ECNL isn't going away. It won't be #1 but will be just fine. Just because USSF wishes it doesn't mean it will come true. All this does is push NPL into a very distant #3 league.

Ecnl is #1 , gda is a joke

ECNL does it right,, let the ladies play their high school soccer and have fun. ECNL is all about getting college commitments,, while the GDA will blow spoke up your butts about playing on a national team.. GDA doesn't get it,, these young ladies want to play for their High School teams,, then they want to play in College,,, and then,, maybe,, they will think about national teams or pro teams..

GDA is all about fixing the national teams,, but "NEWS FLASH" the womens national team wasn't broken,, it was the men, who were already playing pro, making money and being too much of pre-Madonnas to care about winning a championship,, they could always go back and make money playing pro.

GDA,, will fizzle out,, college coaches/scouts already ready showing disappointment with GDA Showcases... Scouts and Coaches will continue to go to ECNL tournaments and showcases unless GDA management get's their heads out of their butts,, and give the players what they want.. High School, Playing Time(GDA substitution rules are a joke) and college commitments. ECNL will continue to out pace GDA on all of the above.. and the GDA will continue to put a sub-par team together for the national team.. only difference is,, the womens teams will begin to suck, just as much as the men...... Old Proverb..... "If it aint broken,, don't try and fix it.. "

There's no track record for DA. Three years from now when kids that have been through that system, and are getting the D1 scholarships while ECNL kids can barely scrape together D3, then you can talk. DA will never be what ECNL was as long as ECNL is around. ECNL won't either, which is a shame, but unless DA makes some major changes in its core principles, it will never overtake ECNL

If the rumors are true and PDA are leaving DA. thats a huge blow for the da. no one else really comes close in the NE.

And you'd know this how? Did you run a survey of coaches? Claims of supremacy can't be validated for a few years yet in the form of where the talent plays in college

If CA clubs drop out and several east coast clubs are out (rumors up and down the coast) the league is severely weakened.

Who cares both GDA and Ecnl are subpar, GDA more so.Another fine job by the soccer elite.Coaches are looking everywhere for talent as they should.
