Have you ever lived anywhere where there are offshore platforms? They dump so much **** into the water that the platforms make great places to fish (except that they oil companies keep chasing you off becuase they don't want your boat near the platform).

Don’t let science get in the way of hate.
I mean, science used to say the world was flat and that leaches were the best method for curing disease. Don't forget that people still think that organic food is pesticide free.
Yep, keep quoting those error-free scientists.

Actually oil leaks from the gulf's ocean floor all the time. It occurs both naturally and artificially from the rigs and areas around capped wells. There are microbes that exist in the gulf that actually feed on the crude though not to the extent that could offset the BP disaster when it occured.
Most of that spillage was washed out to the ocean from the gulf as the currents act like a big toilet bowl.

Shouldn’t you be working on your GED instead of posting silly ideas on TS?

Please post an article that says oil and garbage dumping are regular operations for offshore platforms.

You got this science thing all wrong. These oil guys are using their superior post science knowledge. Better than that silly science stuff you guys came up with.

That would be science before data.

Which data are you referencing?
