If anyone thinks a 6'1" goalie isn't being seen, they are crazy. Some are picked and some are not, and some play and some do not. They are evaluated all the time.
    Lol
riiight Those kids are sooo much better than the rest....has nothing to do with the politics except explain how the Cleveland internationals ECNL team that didn't even make it into the bottom post season bracket sent three first time YNT camper a forward, midfielder and defender to YNT camp that their DOC/Coach was present for the first time... Oh and those 2000 Stars players weren't there because JD was standing next to them in Chula Vista...sure... and there are others...many others...

Btw there were a few CFC ECNL kids at NEFC DA pre tryouts camp
That should make the boys teams better there! Now both sides are worse than before.

That said if your kid can keep pace they aren't going to care either. The thing is your kid has to keep pace and the pace is insane.
Yep, another league for rich kids and F*#& the rest .... same story, new league. What exactly is GDAP revolutionary when compared to ECNL? Oh, I know ..... 3 practices a week? Nope. College coaches? Nope. SHowcases? Nope. Better drills have been created for these special players right? Nope. A smaller league to funnel only the top kids and clubs to it? Nope! It gives USSF power, prestige, and $ that they can't create on the boys side? BINGO!!!!

The only way BBA wins is NT call ups. If they don't come exclusively from them as the only remaining GDA then everyone will know the system is a farce. I don't believe ussf has the balls to play that card however. ECNL IMO is the clear winner in this game of poker. BBA coaches, training and facilities are the same as when nefc was on the shirt. The competition is low level npl level. Unless GDA makes it that there is no wiggle room they will fail miserably.

In the 2-3 year the power struggle will play itself out. In MA the players will get to choice which path they want to follow. Here are the factors that will determine which league will be dominant in the years to come:

            1. NT aspiration
            2. College coaches
            3. High School
            4. Quality of coaching
            5. Travel
            6. Parents

Be careful, your ECNL agenda is showing. The fact that you just claimed that losing ONE mid pack GDA team out of the current GDA conference now makes the conference all of a sudden “low level NPL” , just shows how much the the “spin” is in. Bayside is low level NPL. Come on people. Now y’all are just being stupid.

BINGO is right. Many knew this all along. Some are just starting to realize it now. Some will never get it.

The conference was always suspect. Take away clubs with the ability to compete at a high level and what's left? I have no ecnl bias or agenda but am no fan of GDA. Stars were only mid pack because they hedged their bets between both leagues leading both to be mediocre.

So which teams will be good competition in the NE GDA now?

Same teams as this year. Removing mid-pack Stars teams out doesn’t change that much, except one less local team to play.

Word from NY is LISC is out (no loss there) and possibly Empire (same and their travel is awful). So fewer teams to bitc& slap. Tighter competition but less of it.

Those clubs should be out. If NYCSC left, that would be a concern.

So now there’s 5 NE teams? That’s pathetic. Not much of a division.

Not it really isn't - so what, play the same 5 teams over and over again? That or combine with midatlantic - more travel but more variable competition
