Oh, the BBA uniforms interfered with stars recognizing each other. The results are totally wrong.
So sensitive! The post merely pointed out the score of the 16s was even at half which apparently was a fact. Don’t think he said anything about excuses for the loss. In fact he said the Stars fell apart at the end.

Stars packed it in during the first half of the 16s. The only player over midfield was the central striker. BBA Keeper only touched the ball twice. Once BBA scored in the second half the Stars ventured out a bit more. Stars defended very well, but never really tried to mount an attack until about 20 mins left.

Did anyone count how many yellow cards were awarded to stars 4 age groups this past Saturday. It’s worth a look. I promise this won’t disappoint you. What exactly is the driving force for all the cards even in a game you’ve managed to win on a coaching blunder.

Recall the 1st game last fall, stars was losing 0:1 all the way to the last 14 minutes of that game, but stars didn't give up, persistently attacking until they were blessed at 80 mins to get a goal 1:1, and the unceasingly effort went on until the last minute of the game, stars finally won 2:1. But book at the star players of the game last fall, the stars squad of last Saturday missed the following key players:
          1) A NT player who played center back the game last fall, who is one of those defender any forwarders of her age are afraid of. 2) A NT forward who played half of the game, who is one of the most creative forwarders of her age. 3) A left back, who was the best wing back of entire stars club. 4) A left middle fielder, who is a small player but was the game changer of that game by changing the game tempo the last 14 minutes. These four players were missing yesterday game. 1) and 2) are on their NT trip. 3) and 4) already left the stars DA.

If you watched both games, you may see that the squad last Saturday should not have lost so many goals. But stars squad was observed with damaged spirit, lost connections, and mismatched movements both physically and mentally. Given all these, no matter how hard you work, how tricky your coaching, the loss is fated. I thought stars would lose 0:2 or 1:4, but definitely not expect an 0:9. As a soccer scout I personally saw three players of this game that SM should not have played: two defenders, one middle fielder, they are not qualified for this tough game with BBA, two do not have basic skills, one plays fake. Don't why SM played them. By having these three players in his team, 11 players actually is counted as 11-3-1=7 players because if a player can not play right, she will discount team more than 1 player. so 7 stars players vs. 11 BBA players, so 0:9 is the outcome, that is pretty much what I see.
          Oooohh, a soccer scout?
          Is there an Eagle equivalent?
          Were you prepared?

Part of the game. Fouls happen. Watch any boys soccer game. 3/4 a game is the norm.

Back to the SM question. Is he secure, or looking to move on again?

                Mentally secure? Absolutely not.

I wonder if Stars dropped GDA because they knew SM would have to eventually get a coaching qualification to be part of it. #foundout

You are trying to be clever, but in reality this was just dumb. Try again.

like SM, he's an imposter too. his idea of coaching is to check his cellphone obsessively. someone needs to remind him that he is paid to coach. sorry, not entirely true. he looks up occasionally.

and how did he get to be head of DA for stars? what the heck were his qualifications over the many other highly qualified coaches? stars needed an incompetent scapegoat that couldn't possibly make a new program successful. he's just another former athlete that doesn't know squat about development, organizing a program, connecting with kids, and getting the best out of a program or a team. he provided no video to the teams. never organized 4x a week practices. we were lucky if we got 3x a week. many times it was only 2x a week. practice would be canceled if the girls had a rare two games the prior weekend or they "deserved" it. they needed to be out practicing. the product on the pitch showed that. that's what parents signed up for. we were sold a bill of goods. he's a hack.

This post is not unfair, not one bit, and plenty predicted all of it.

Both teams played a competitive game in the fall (1st game of season for both), stars played much better quality competition in NC and played to win, there is absolutely ZERO significance to these games. No standings or playoffs. These games are friendlies only. You are comparing the olympics, epl to a DA friendly?! What you are missing is that EPL transitions to offense in the blink of an eye and then gets everyone behind the ball on D. Big difference to how SM was coaching yesterday. He was instructing his players to get yellow cards and play kick and run. Is this what other countries are doing to prepare its players?
And there in lies one of the problems with SM's team. He hasn't figured out how to get his team to transition to the offense and then stay connected in the offensive third to keep the pressure on. If your team struggles to transition and has to put the ball over the top to one forward (who is then playing against 4 defenders), you aren't going to score very often. Maybe the problem is finishing? No. You can't finish if you don't have opportunities. How about the your team doesn't generate proper transition? So instead of figuring that out, he goes to 10 behind the ball to slow the other team's offense down. Retreat soccer for young girls. Way to coach them up! What's the message to the girls? "You aren't very good and I don't have faith in you, so let's not attack, let's retreat. Maybe we will get lucky!"
