Nope, its nothing more than glorified scrimmages but it's still useful to get your players up to game speed as early as possibly to get there mind thinking faster. More teams and coaches should be doing these early small tournaments and challenge there players with new positions on the field to expand there mental develop. The results don't matter at all but if you can achieve quality play along with challenging your players id say it's something to be impressed about.
