Not at all - just commenting on what seems to have happened. Drop a few few older players when you've got 12 freshman coming in. Happens all the time - coaches are like shiny new objects then toss them when they get tarnished. Players might have left for other reasons too

Spend some time looking at the rosters for the D1 programs. This is not an aberration

I said 'this' team. The poster seemed to be talking about this team.

Providence struggled but it is nice to have the best player (clearly) on the field. He tied it up in the 89th minute and converted a PK in the first two minutes of overtime.

Friars added some skill up front but their back line looked a little shaky

National CSN POW. Not a bad start. He's going to need some help as they get to better teams.

                        BC 3 BU 2

Both teams were weak defensively. The offenses showed promise, although not at mid season form, BC more than BU.

Circa 7500 in attendance. Entertaining although ragged game.

For you doubters, TD has shown he can get it done- scores the winner for BC in game 1 and provides a spark for the team (and an assist) off the bench in game 2. He was involved in many of BC's more dangerous plays in the 2nd half. We'll see what happens when they play the big boys, but BU is a good team, right? Good to see lots of kids who went to school here in MA (Zeiko, TD, Idrissa, Balf, Felix) impacting the game.

For Northeastern, they just didn't look dangerous up front, and then sloppy in the back results in a goal and a tie. Pierrot is a beast and got the goal but didn't seem to get much for looks after that, and nobody else looked like they could score (they had a couple of chances that they probably coulda/shoulda put in). Wondering if they move Mpofu up to give him more looks at the net, although he's dangerous overlapping from the back.

                              It's obviously early.

In case you did not notice, Enstrom another Freshman, scored two goals for BU. As for NU, they need to find the back of the net. That game was easily 3-1
