You are correct. Fairfield has played the weakest out of conference schedule in centuries. They might not even make the playoffs in a weak MAAC. QU is definitely a better team. Expect a beating when they play.

RPI is not a perfect ranking system, but Sacred Heart placing #332 out of a possible #333 teams is a tough pill to swallow.

Fairfield is respectable. Lost to Colgate 1-0 and Colgate is solid. Beat Lafayette convincingly and the Lafayette beat Bucknell.

Fairfield certainly in a better place than their neighbors in the same town.

Agree that QU is probably a better side but thankfully that gets settled on the field this weekend and not on the chat board!

There are CFCU kids starting on teams throughout the Patriot league and plenty of kids ticketed to head there in the next two years. This should be the norm for OW but it’s not.

Good win vs Hofstra. Lafayette is terrible. Colgate down. D State, Wagner and LIU not exactly Duke, UVA and Georgetown. FU against an average schedule is 3-6. Lost to Bryant. QU beat Bryant 3-0. Let’s see how things shake out in conference play but I’d say QU is much better. Interested to see how FU is going forward. Schedule and players are not theirs. A couple of years at least to sort it out and see if they can catch QU.

QU fully funded with an established coach. Fairfield coming off a losing season has prior coach’s kids. Also, a new D3 coach that doesn’t know local landscape. QU should be better for years.

Fairfield probably an easier sell though. Just pulled ahead of Providence for #1 ranking in Regional Universities. QU has 13 or 14 on the same list and Hamden sucks
