If the end product was good, which it most definitely is not, the proximity to Weston would not matter.

Chung is supposedly the DOC for girl's side. Look at that success.

Yes, EE is a complete tool.

Yeah, it would. Still too far south to attract players from most of palm beach county. These programs should be spread out so kids don't have to make the choice between playing and doing homework.

But therein lies the rub with USSF. They do not want good, well-rounded students. They want dedicated soccer players. That's it. You cannot have conflicts with advanced classes, or SAT/ACT, or even play school sports. You must be 100% dedicated to the program. If that requires significant travel, then so be it. If that is not a sacrifice one is willing to make, then the program is not for you.

You can play school sports just not soccer unless you play for private school. Plenty of kids from bu played both high school and da and where not at a private school but nobody cares.

Nice in theory, but how is a teenager supposed to maintain good grades, attend 4 practices per week, plus weekend games, and be dedicated to a school sports team or club? There are only 24 hours in a day. USSF wants only soccer players. Everything else is secondary.

Not everyone has same opinion as you about da soccer and high school sports. That is how
ALSO SOME KIDS THAT PLAY DA DO NOT HAVE A 2.0 SO THEY CAN NOT PLAY HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

Never said my opinion was correct for every player. But it will be consistent for most players in the Palm Beach/Broward area.

There may be a few players that are below the 2.0 scale, but I bet that is the exception and not the rule. Youth soccer is predominantly an upper middle income to wealthy family sport, especially on the girl's side. Very few of those families would allow their children to have substandard grades AND continue to play a sport. Although there are some extremely disconnected parents out there.
