They donít do well out of state but would be top 5 in state. They have some good players and some not so good players.

Between 1985 to 2010 USYS & ODP were the only platforms for players to get chosen from and it produced 2 World Cup titles and multiple Olympic Gold Medals. US Club had nada.

From 2011-2016 USYS & US Club were the only two platforms producing youth nats with ODP scaling back.

In 2017 US Soccer created the DA and now that's were the best of the best play and get elevated to the Youth National teams.

Some USYS & US Club clubs still can get some players chosen modern day, but to your point, if your a nationally elite club player you are already in the DA.

That's the thing with title IX it can trickle into the US Soccer governance, girls should not be discriminated against, since the boys have had their DA since 2007. I love title IX! More opportunities for everyone, not just boys.

Only at the oldest age. At the younger age they might not be top 5.

US Soccer hasn't done a great job with the mens NT. Dull, boring soccer. The players look miserable. Got lost to a backwater team and had to go sit in the corner during the world cup. Hopefully they don't do that bad with the women.

Is that why clubs like Slammers, Michigan Hawks, PDA, etc... are leaving DA to go back to ECNL?

The ban on high school is an overreach. Elite girls soccer players don't have to give up anything for anyone. They are figuring this out.

ECNL will continue to be the best of the best.
