Thus far schools seem to be honoring it, as well as assisting with transfers. They come across as total jerks if they cut scholarships. Bad PR that isn't worth it. Future cuts will remain on the table but probably done gradually so no current students ar hurt

HS only if they are in school full time. Any types of partial in person means no competitive sports.

Town soccer isn’t happening at this point. Hingham has said no travel games until at least Columbus Day (not sure why they think it will be okay in mid October to play other towns)

Clubs will do their best but if soccer stays as high risk in MA then there won’t be a season.
Ivies just announced no fall sports.
As for the town announcement ot cod be they will wait to see what numbers look like in September

there won't be high school sports that's for certain, MA won't take the risk especially if ivies aren't prepared to
all of these people saying clubs will be fine because they are private and can make their own decisions... some colleges are private and made the decision to not play, get it straight people NO FALL SPORTS

Private colleges that aren't playing sports are either not inviting students back to campus or are doing some version of a bubble. Colby for example is testing all students and not permitting outside interactions.

There is a huge population of parents that realizes soccer is completely safe for kids and virtually every club's future depends on some version of competitive soccer in the fall.

I have no idea why people like you want to ruin things for the rest of us but hopefully you won't succeed.

Problem is that they will succeed. We live in the northeast and if one person claims they are not comfortable doing something, then no one is allowed to do that. This is always the way it happens, regardless of data or facts or trends ..... we just operate on feelings of individuals rather than telling the individual to live in a bubble and not force everyone else to. There won't be anything going on in the Fall.

Agreed. They are called the democratic party. Even their leader won't leave his basement.

Several have dropped out so it's a foregone conclusion. The Ivies cancelled before any single school announced anything,

Not disagreeing but don’t say a league is cancelled when it hasn’t been yet. Fake news.

What you talking about? Many schools announced cancellation of sports before Ivy’s.
