Originally posted by Unregistered View PostState organizations were only part of the problem. With DA and ECNL players getting great college exposure, even NT call ups, through theirleagues,, their leagues, the need to do ODP went away for them. Then with many top players out by u14 or so the quality of participants went way down. That in turn made it less appealing/less of a draw for players, college coaches and even instructional coaches.

Is WCFC all in on boys ECNL, too? Wouldnt the drama on the girls side be a problem for them expanding boys DA?

NYCFC/WCFC ECNL tryouts this Sunday, mixed teams, should be depressing for most of the current A-Team ECNL parents, as they will behold greatness, and despair.

Some of those WCFC ecnl teams were not very good at all, so I would imagine many of those parents will be worried having NYCFC kids at their tryouts.
