Why not?. They're NPL level really with a terrible record. Having a patch on the sleeve doesn't mean they're top players. I bet families would be happy with less travel and the kids can go back to playing high school.

Is that whole team confirmed going over to surf? We are in Pequa and can’t stand it here. But we are a group of five that want to stay together as well. We don’t want to have anyone be left off roster.

There are no Surf Westchester teams anymore. We were told by our coaches last week that this would be our last season. We have had little support or leadership from anyone- so this should not have been a surprising turn of events - but it kind of was. We have struggled to get fields to practice and play games on. The only thing holding this together by a thread for the past two years has been our really great coaches - who are clearly in it for the benefit of the kids. The coaches have been the only positive experience in this whole mess of disorganization and lack of leadership and direction. We received an e-mail in late March from Keith Bratti with assurances that they were working on the field problems and that the teams would be solid for next year, even mentioning plans to add teams at the younger ages! We have had no subsequent communication from any Surf leadership. No official word from NY Surf that they will no longer have Westchester teams. The whole thing has been an expensive disappointment, but the biggest problem is that this news/rumor comes so late in the season that many of these kids have missed the chance to try out at other clubs and now have nowhere to play next year. So buyer beware...only a matter of time before they run Long Island into the ground too......

Roster demands are hard to make on competitive teams. People are not paying lots of money to have parents making roster demands on the club. That said, you can likely find a team that will take an entire group but it might have to be a lower level team. If all the players are strong enough to make the team anyway, then go wherever you want

It’s sad that this guys has a say in anything. This could be a really great club for people who do not want to deal with all the travel associated with DA or ECNL, but this guy continues to BS people. Need to move him out completely to steady the ship.

You guys made your bed by going to Mass, now your not happy there either. At some point your kids need will need to make it on their own in life, they're not 10 anymore where a competitive club takes a package deal.

Was at open practices this week and know Surf is looking for more 06 players. Would def bring your kids down as MC told me he was coaching the second team
