Just know that if you wan tto do the ECNL or DA thing it isn't going to be a cakewalk on a team that everyone wants to make.

Clubs develop players......
The fantasy just continues on and on and on and on and on and on........
So many fools out there that club owners can rely on to continue to provide them income because they buy the crap being fed them that the "club" is a wondrous developmental tool.

Clubs do not develop players in the sense that they are out there teaching individuals how to play the game. All they do is provide a platform for the kids to be playing against and with other similarly able and motivated kids. Do they teach some technical stuff? Sure on occasion but in general that is up to the kids themselves to work on during their own time or to go out and get additional training specifically for technical.
What some clubs do is help put certain kids into situations that are beneficial to them. That means giving playing time that is not impacted by mistakes. Putting them in certain positions more often so they gain experience and understanding of a position which can make them appear "better" than kids who may only rotate into that spot occasionally.
Clubs also will give certain kids the opportunity to attend extra training or play up. My experience is that this is almost always more to do with connections and the checkbook than actual ability of the player.

IMO it just makes sense that a lot of OW ulittles get cut. Have you ever seen these kids? I am not calling any kids out but in general their parents are un-athletic slugs with dreams their kids are superstars. That doesn't mean there aren't really good players at OW ulittle, just not a whole teams worth.

There’s a local player that was told she couldn’t handle the level at a young age. Same kid is high school all American and will be playing Division 1. Oakwood is joke on the girls side
