    Not fact. Opinion.

I've talked to quite a few FCP parents and they do not hold the same "opinion" as you.
Perhaps your definition of "success" is different than theirs.

Here is the thing if your kid is good no matter where they play you will be happy and the parents will also be happy unless they are surrounded by players that are a lot more inferior !

Bottom line, There are kids at FC Prime that are truly not at that level and should be somewhere else. As a first year club, you sometimes have to take those kids to field the numbers. FC Prime has done well so far and will get better not worse. They have an offering other clubs do not have in South FL.

If parents want competitive multiple showcases and want their daughter to compete at a higher level on a weekly basis, not twice a year than FC Prime maybe an option.

Not a chance with Alan at the helm. South Florida will figure him out just like we did at Central Florida. Empty promises and bully tactics. This whole post smells like Alan and his propaganda. People in Orlando know that you have lost those crap fields so when will your club members know? How bad is it going to look when you finally do tell them you don’t have those fields for next year when it’s been on talking-soccer for all this time.

Butt-hurt OC parents will not give it a rest.

"....when it’s been on talking-soccer for all this time." Almost 250 posts and not one, not a single mentio,n of any factual reference to the fields not being available next year.

There's also a thread that Rush is getting GDA.... that must be true too!

One of the top da clubs. They max their PT da players (their best players) and also play them on the regular club team and compete for national titles with the club team. All the top da clubs are doing this outside the southern region. Look at CA da teams. They do this too. We are the ones who don’t get how it should be done. They are very smart to do this. They have first place da teams and contenders for national championship at a regular club level. Best of both worlds.
This is exactly right. The best DA,s in the country max out their part time roster limits and bring in players from other key clubs in the area. That’s what Sunrise and Weston are doing and it’s definitely the best option. Kids get to stay on their club team year round and then still play in the DA for 12 games max which is more than enough. Most part time DA players never even max out and play less than 12 because they are usually on good state cup teams also and play in competitive leagues. To be able to play on a competitive team year round and also play with a DA for national and regional team scouting is definitely a great option rather than playing ECNL and be stuck only playing ECNL and forced with the cost. ECNL Discovery is similar to part time DA and is the best ECNL option by far but there’s only two per team. But if your kid is regional or national team potential then the DA is still the best option either full time or part time. The Boys and girls DA showcase is packed with college coaches from top schools all over the country. It definitely competes with ECNL showcases for college coaches but also has way more national team as well as pro scouts. You still can’t beat the DA’s when it comes to exposure if your kid is good enough to play at that level.

You must be new to how bids work. You bid for fields and best bid wins. Alan boy is outgunned with a professional club taking the fields. He withdrew the bid that FC Prime put together because he couldn’t compete. The truth will come out and you’ll be the one looking like a hot mess

This is the point were it gets very confusing. This thread has almost 250 posts. Many of the early posts talked about how these fields are in a terrible neighborhood with safety issues. Now you want me to believe that these are fields that are coveted by a "professional club"?

Didn’t they partner with Coral Springs and team Boca? They will just use their fields

Again, decent DA programs with players committed to the sport do this. It’s full-time or nothing at a good DA.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. The largest DA clubs in the country max out on their part time DA players so you must just be from an ECNL club who is worried about your local DA club. If that’s the case then why does ECNL allow “Discovery” players on their teams who play at other clubs? Is it because the ECNL team and club is poorly managed? US soccer finally understands that they need part time players in areas of the country where high school soccer is big so those players can still play HS and still get exposure playing with the DA if they are strong enough and still train in the DA setting all year. It’s a very smart move by US soccer and I think a lot of kids will look at the DA option now who didn’t before.

Provide a link to any roster from a top/middle level DA club that has 12 PT players. They have a couple for kids from their own clubs second team. None have kids from other clubs. This is a Florida problem only because they can’t field any qaultly teams.
