Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThere were several teams from SCC that won as lower seeds today. Cheshire, Foran, Guilford, Lauralton Hall, Branford all winning against tough opponents. Maybe Hand is far and away best team in state coming out of the conference. Hand vs St Joes should not be in same side of bracket, that would be a great final

SCC has far too many weak teams in the conference to properly prepare teams with vigorous regular season. Competition fluctuates too much. Get rid of home and away and schedule more competitive games. Cheshire and Amity are both mid-level teams. Small possibility for one more win but that's it. I expect all SCC teams to go out in next two rounds with the exception of Madison. They are loaded with upperclassman and should be in the final for sure.

For what it's worth, no conference is without its cream puff games. The FCIAC has its guaranteed wins as well. Three of the worst teams in the state in LL are FCIAC
