I know people who've been in ICU and recovered after weeks in hospital, folks who are "long haulers" who can't shake the symptoms after months, and people who had a completely asymtopmatic case. To say people should just get it is like encouraging people to not wear a seatbelt.
What are your thoughts on making the Speed Limit 25 on the freeway nationwide? Could save hundreds of thousands a year.

Traveling out then back to Washington would require quarantine. Can’t see how that would bode well with high school coaches once practices start (if they start next month). HS players need 10 practices in before playing.

Not this year. It is being waived.

Morons and their false equivalencies. They'll never be able to get it.

Anyhow, doesn't matter what parents think. Clubs, representing their own interests, will be making the decisions.

Actually not true. Quarantine is only "recommended". High school ADs from multiple schools have verified that it is only recommended. Meaning players are good to play high school upon return.

My thought is you're unable to make a cogent argument on the topic at hand.

HS will be able to practice but most regions are still a ways off from playing under the newest metrics. King County would have been close, but now that they are lumped in with Snohomish and Pierce it will be harder. Almost like it was designed that way, stunning.

If kids want to play games before Spring Break, they will need to go out of state.

If everyone would just be careful and take steps to limit the spread, we’d be back to playing soon. We can do it! Be extra careful now that the new more infectious variant is out!

Been preaching this since the summer time and since labor day people have sadly stopped giving a crap. If we all focused on WE > I this would've been dealt with by now

How many times does it need to be said? Local outdoor soccer does not contribute to the spread. Forcing teams to play out of state likely does. The Washington restrictions are counter-productive. Everyone would be better off if they could just play in state.

Soccer isn’t even the worst. AAU basketball teams have been traveling out of state the entire time. Basketball in WA has no return to play currently on the horizon, but guarantee teams will continue to play out of state.

WE? There is only one person preventing the kids from playing....ONE! There are less than 7 states that aren't allowing outdoor soccer games. SAD.

The fact that outdoor dining (without masks) and indoor gyms are open, even with limited capacity, but kids can’t play outdoor sports is a joke. It’s all about $$$ and youth sports doesn’t have enough.
