Where did the NYCFC DA girls land?

Full transparency I am not from NY. My D competes against NY and am curious if anyone left the club to remain in the DA on other clubs rosters. It’s very hard to gauge if the DA in NY benefits with one club switching to ECNL because the season just started.

I’m hopeful that some remained to make competition stronger. If this was discussed here please accept my apologies.

AFAIK they mostly stayed at world class.

Interesting. What happened to the World Class players then?

Not entirely. Some weren't good enough to get spots and went elsewhere or didn't want ECNL. If they wanted to stay in DA then it's mostly NYSC or Sta, others went to other teams in ECNL or other

          Some graduated
Some stayed to play ECNL at WCFC
          Some left for STA GDA
          Some left for NYSC GDA
          Some left for CS GDA
and some left to never return, away, away where the stars still burn...

lots of options for kids in that area!

Cedar Stars, NYSC, Match Fit, STA, PDA, World Class. That must be some merry go round every year.

Not really. This actually spans a pretty wide geographic area, and traffic patterns make it even more difficult.

Of these, probably Cedar Stars Bergen has the hardest time retaining players because it is the closest (without a bridge-crossing) to World Class.

I see a lot on the STA roster. 2003 and 2004 age groups
