Some of us are trying to act like we are British because that makes us look and sound like we know more about soccer. Using the word wanker makes me sound british. Nothing wrong with a little posing. Why do you care?

Kids? Only if they were teenagers in the early 90's

I have lots of ideas, but the biggest would be to allow girls to play high school. It's pretty clear that girls want to play high school.

              That might help?

No comrades do not play soccer for fun. You must only play soccer our way and do not smile. Soccer is serious / not for fun!!!

The USMNT is a perfect example. Robotic and dull. They all look miserable.

This is what we should all strive for.

Having a break for recreational/social soccer is important for the non DA level players. Totally agree and support this notion.

The gda already gives girls basketball season off. If they gave soccer season off too it'd be a lot of dead time. Trying to do both means kids would miss GDA games which might mean not enough on the roster for a game.

If it means that the academy struggles to get kids out, then so be it. No reason to cave to the demands of kids. They need to learn that they are not the boss.

                          1. Allow high school soccer.
                          2. Improve relationships with clubs. Right now they are not talking up the Academy.
                          3. Cut the cost. If it really is $400 per month that is pretty steep.
                          4. Eliminate the away games against lower quality teams like Burlingame and PSV and California Thorns. It is hard for girls to miss school events for low tier games.

                            1. HS Soccer is staying even with a US Soccer DA in play. It's allowed and aint going away.
                            2. Local clubs understand there is a higher level platform for kids called the DA--why the neighborhood girls coaches at clubs feel intimidated or threatened by a DA is called insecurity.
                            2. If you want it cheaper and the kid is a phenom US Soccer will scholarship them.
                            4. That's why HS Soccer was eliminated for a DA player.

                              1. Ain't happening. Even if it means B teamers need to fill positions on the GDA, then so be it. Only Jesuit players are allowed to do both. Other states allow this so maybe move there?
                              2. The clubs are looking after what kids and families want and not the USMNT. Clubs that don't recommend the DA are bad and should fix their attitudes immediately or be punished.
                              3. At $400 per month you can't even get a Honda sedan gas powered automobile for that with zero down. How much cheaper do you want it? $199 per month?
                              4. It is a problem to fly to play lower quality teams and even worse when teams lose to those teams. Not sure what can be done about this, but the suggestion is good in general.

Ha, maybe teams would like to eliminate travel here if they're looking for quality. If California Thorns are considered low quality what's that say about they Portland Thorns DA? Just about every team lost to them.
