If ETFC (who has dropped 8 points with two games remaining) wins their last two matches, they win Fall League. If they fail to do so, then Bend (who has finished their fall schedule with 9 dropped points) can do no worse than tie, or win outright if Cuervos fails to win both of their last two matches. Bend and the Crows tied their one head-to-head match, don't know who would win a tiebreaker beyond that.
Don't know either and don't care!
What league is this anyhow?
Antuan Peterson 11 FC Portland
Lucas Witthauer 10 Washington
Aidan Brouddus 8 Crossfire
Rodolfo Figueroa 8 FC Portland
Angel Jareth Solis 7 Capital
Alexander Harris 7 Washington
Nathan Olszewski 6 BSC
Leo Fulcher 6 Crossfire
Zac Levin 6 Crossfire
Henry Dennis Nahl 5 Westside
Renato Beltran 5 FC Portland
Tristan Olvera 4 Capital
Can a reporting error be corrected on the DA site?
FC versus WT game is moving to new Mountain View Champions Park. Good news is no complaining power lines dog poo and tall grass. However, MVCP doesn't allow tents. It's not WT being a holes, it's the rules. Putting the fire out before the flame.
seriously, though, teams like PTFC could use a forward that stands up front and elbows defenders out of the way to get on goal. thanks for answering the question.
I thought that they had the big kid that played for the FCPDX State Cup team?
Yes, but he seems to have gotten lazy, watched him get scored on multiple times. He is no longer the big kid in the small goals, his lines and footwork, especially with the ball on the ground need some work....

Interesting. I wonder if this is a broad point of view? Anyone else feel this way?

I agree with this assessment, and have since April. I actually felt last year, that the current 05 DA goalie was better than that keeper. He is careless and cocky, and unfortunately has probably been told too many times that he is "amazing." I watched 2 of his games in Oceanside, and while I was not surprised, I was saddened by what I saw. This is what "supposed" high level training has gotten him.
Only OYSA predictions this week. I'm not going to try and predict the games at the DA Showcase in California, as I am not familiar with any of the opponents.
With that in mind...
Bend 3, ETFC 2. Eugene has managed to climb to the second spot in the polls, and travels to Central Oregon to face the top team. Should be a good one, but Bend will pull out the win.
Bend 1-0. A bit more defensive than I thought, but Bend gets the win and is now done for fall season. Result: Off the post and in.
FCSC 6, Red2 1. Was the score of their last match a few weeks ago, so we'll go with that. Especially if Felidia is all nice and muddy.
FCSC 7-1. Red2 can't buy a point. Result: Past the keeper's fingertips into the upper 90.
HSC 3, Copa 1. Last time it was a one-goal victory, but that was before Copa hit the skids.
HSC 2-0. Copa didn't win any games this weekend, but avoided getting blown out... Result: Past the keepr's fingertips, into the upper 90.
ADF 3, 4H 2. F-Bombs take down the Farmers. Interestingly enough, this appears to be being played at a neutral site (Alder Creek MS in Clackamas) rather than in SW PDX or Salem.
4H 3, ADF 2. After a hot start, the F-bombs have been strugglng of late. Result: Off the post, and out.
Copa 3, Navy 2. FC's trip to Walker Road presents Copa with their best chance for a point.
Navy 3, Copa 1. Hey, Copa scored a goal! Unfortunately, FC scored three of them. Result: Three yards wide of the post.
Crows 4, GPS 2. Second game of a double-header at Alder Creek.
2-2 tie. Off the post, and out.
Last week's OYSA poll:
1) Bend (7-1-3). Tie RVT, nothing to be ashamed of. Big matchup this weekend as Eugene visits Central Oregon.
2) ETFC (7-1-1). Impressive results against RVT and ADF move them into second place.
3) Cuervos (6-1-2). Pound on Copa, but drop a spot due to ETFC's impressive showing. Visit IFC this weekend.
4) RVT (5-3-2). Heartbreaker against Eugene, impressive draw in Bend. Have next weekend off. Timbers haters will be upset that the three non-DA alliance clubs now occupy 3 of the top four spots.
5) ADF (5-3-1). Have been struggling of late--pound Red2, but lose in Eugene. Host the Farmers this weekend.
6) IFC (4-3-1). No game this weekend, host the Crows next weekend.
7) Hillsboro (4-4-1). Knock off the Farmers to drop them to #1. Visit Copa.
8) 4H (4-4-0). Stumble against Hillsboro. Gets tougher this weekend with a visit to ADF.
9) Salmon Creek (2-5-1). Sink the Navy, and move back up to the #9 spot. This weekend it's the Battle of Vancouver, part 2.
10) FC (2-7-0). After upset win against ADF last weekend, get brought back down to earth against Salmon Creek, restoring the fact that the three B teams are at the bottom of the poll. Visit Copa--remember when Copa vs Navy was a marquee matchup? Seems so long ago...
12T) Copa (0-8-0). Clobbered, again, by the Crows. Get two shots at a result this weekend, as they host Hillsboro and Navy.
12T) WashT (0-8-0). Clobbered by ADF. Head west to face Salmon Creek this weekend.
1. Bend (8-1-3). Finish fall season with 27 points. Two teams can catch them, but until and unless they do, they keep the top spot.
2) ETFC (7-2-1). If they win there last two games, will win Fall League. Should be able to handle Red2 at Harmony this weekend; final game in two weeks at 4H.
3) Cuervos (6-1-3). Tie hurt them, but they could also reach Bend if they win their last two. Not sure who wins the tiebreaker, and too lazy to look it up. At FC Portland this weekend.
4) RVT (5-3-2). Can't win the league, but still in the driver's seat for a top seed. Finish their league schedule this weekend, visiting IFC on Saturday, 4H on Sunday.
5) IFC (5-3-2). Get the tie against the Crows, good enough to move up a spot. Host Rogue Valley.
6) ADF (5-4-1). Lose to 4H. Visit Copa this weekend. Probably out of running for top seed.
7) 4H (6-4-0). Have two games remaining. Host RVT on Sunday.
8) HSC (5-4-1). Knock off Copa. Visit Salmon Creek next weekend.
9) FCSC (3-5-1). Win the 2nd Battle of Vancouver handily. Host HSC.
10) Navy (3-7-0). Also knock off Copa. Cuervos comes to Liberty to visit.
12T) Copa (0-9-0). Pick up two close losses--hey, it's better than being blown out. Host ADF.
12T) Red2 (0-9-0). Get boatraced by Salmon Creek. Won't get easier as they host a Eugene team trying to knock Bend off their perch.
Ok prediction guy, let's have 'em for this weekend!
DA:
FC 1, WT 1. Should be a wild, wet one this weekend. Be happy it's not at Poowerlines.
Crossfire 3, CFC 1. Will "AJS" score a goal? Does anyone besides his mama care? I sure don't.
BSC 5, ET 2. Will go out on a limb here, and predict that Eastside gets their first multi-goal game. Not their first victory, however.
OYSA:
ETFC 6, Red2 1. Eugene wants to wrest the Fall League crown from Bend, and needs two wins to do it. They'll get the first against WashT's B team.
Salmon Creek 3, HSC 2. Should be a muddy affair at Felidia Park. Aren't there any turf fields up in north Vancouver?
ADF 5, Copa 1. And to think that Copa finished higher in Clash at the Border....
GPS 3, RVT 2. Home field will tip this to GPS. Plus Rogue Valley has a player on suspension.
4H 3, RVT 2. 4H locks up a top-four seed in State Cup.
Cuervos 5, Navy 1. Cuervos also gets a necessary win in their quest to topple Bend from the top spot.
