And sit the girls who don't belong in a travel club hoping the drop out.

She was run out by the current President because he wanted to merge dog food with dog sh-- and sell it as dog food, and when he got from resistance from her because his daughter was part of the back part of the dog, he made it a vendetta to get her removed. As for Douglas, the reason why girls are not playing high school at Douglas is because the coach there will not allow her girls to play both club and high school and the girls are picking club. If she changed that rule, Douglas would improve.
Why would the Douglas coach make the kids choose between HS and club. Your better players are with a club, so she decimates her own team?

Funny, that is where the president's kid would be going. He has an agenda. She was discovered for not being a good coach and it is funny because when Laura's old assistant DR was there, they didn't have any of the problems they do now with RD there. Why was RD not highly thought of at Taravella? Isn't that where she teaches? RD claimed she played in college...HA, more BS! You can find out a lot of things on the internet. She wasn't even a average high school player. I agree with the other poster, why would a high school coach make kids chose between high school and club soccer? The whole thing is BS!

Just out of curiosity. How many players from Coral Springs have gone on to the next level? there was so much talk earlier about what a savior TG was. He had the oldest team in the club, so how many kids did he land scholarships?

CSU is a rec club and always will be. They say they hired college coaches only to find out they are volunteer college coaches or grad assistants. They have no real experience and have only coached B teams in their previous club jobs. Their past club wouldn't even give them a first division team so that tells you how good they are. But then again they should fit right in at CSU because the whole club is B teams. I have watched this club go nowhere and they continuously hire inexperienced coaches because no real coach would ever work for such a weak DOC and a board full of parents that continuously run the club into the ground. Be smart and stay away, far far away.

TG team only had 1 player who was a senior. You can ask that question next year. TG a savior? He is only listed as a coach. Nothing more. Not sure why they don't want him more involved

Not a single player went semi pro, national team, or 100% division 1 school.

I heard he had nothing to do with that.

The last "scholarship" player he had at that school didn't fare to well.

It wasn't his doing. His club got him the scholarship.

It's so funny how people come on here and have no idea how these things work. The player earned his own scholarship. Throughout the process, the college coaches will speak with the players coaches in club and high school after seeing them play. The important thing is his coaches helped this player to play in college

LOL...Thanks for the input Todd, but seriously, as soon as a college coach starts talking to you they will realize that you are clueless.

This club used to be a strong club then egos on the parent board made it splinter into two clubs and then they merged back. It has never recovered and given the current climate between the current board whose kids are rec players and the brothers who have never done the jobs they are doing, it never will. There is very limited experience on the coaching staff, yet they are charging fees that are higher than area clubs that give you more. SMH. When RD is being mentioned as a top coach and she has never accomplished anything in her life, that is a scary proposition.
