At least they will finally have a choice.
There will be multiple paths as always. New paths will come and go. The players and coaches remain the same so not much true change so no reason to fret. Pick a path, have fun, change paths when you want.

ECNL for boys is just a money grab.

Similar to that National League thru US Youth Soccer last year.

        Extensive travel.

        Missing school for travel.

Missing school events and extracurricular activities. Even the thorns coach said these are important.

        Ban on high school sports.

Nobody comes to your game. Three people and a dog.
You are so mean. How would you like it if it were you're kid?

          Excessive travel and missing school.

No wonder most top clubs won't buy in. They realize the intangible experience of the extracirricular activities. The value of being part of your school
I'm sick of the mean comments here. People have feelings you know.

Bingo. Good luck to all the little soccer players across the state.

Having the option, if selected you can have it paid for by a pro club is truly remarkable.

This. Sorry, none of our players are headed to the USWNT. Enjoy whichever team you choose.

Either you are serious about soccer or your not. High school is overrated. Better to be a good soccer player.

If your dd isn't a good high school student, soccer could be a better path.

Home schooling isn't hard. It's easier than dealing with all the friend drama and boys of high school. Last thing you want is your daughter getting caught up in distractions.

32 hours round trip to Burlingame in the ThornMobile.

                        18 bags of cheetos consumed.

Four cases of Red Bull guzzled.

Six hours on the side of the road pouring water bottles on the radiator.

                        The memories? Priceless.

Don't be a snob. Kids will be kids.
                        Driving to Burlingham in style.

Do people really still eat Cheetos? There you might as well smoke some filterless cigarettes and wash in down with some Roundup.
