If you brag about winning st Jesuit, you must not have much else to be proud of.

If you could only use players from your state at any college, Oregon like girls soccer in Oregon would be divided up and all fail to ever gain top 25 rankings unless you play in a watered down league like Ecnl.

Imagine them completing against USC who can recruit nationally. That’s the equivalent of Jesuit winning in any sport. It’s a joke.
It doesn’t sound like you have much going on either with the amount of energy that you spend whining about UofJ

Sorry your daughter did not make the cut athletically or academically.

This borderline incoherent rant brought to by copious quantities of vodka.

Jesuit is a good academic private school and an even better athletic private school. Of course Jesuit draws all the best players. No surprise and nothing can be done about it unless OSAA decided to put all the private schools into their own league. In the meantime, no use whining. Try to figure out how to beat them or how to get OSAA to put all the private schools together.

Love the outsider that thinks Jesuit hands out tuition for athletes. If you daughter is the real deal then go to J High and apply for an athletic scholarship

There are no athletic scholarships per se at Jesuit. There are need based scholarships that by happenstance end up be awarded to a percentage of students who happen to be gifted athletes. Athletic talents can be part of the overall profile of JCs (Jesuit Candidates) just as other talents are (academic, artistic, etc...)

Selection is a completely transparent process yet by no means is the process simple. The process is well understood by the selection committee who in their combined democratic wisdom (imbued by the Jesuit tradition) are able to make decisions that meet standards of fairness beyond reproach.

Please share with everyone the percentage of Jesuit athletes receiving need based scholarships

The football team NEEDS a tailback.
The girls soccer team NEEDS a center mid.

100% of the starters are on scholarship at Jesuit due to the high cost of ECNL travel.

That was a really stupid question btw

Those need based scholarships are strictly for boy's sports like football and basketball.
