Reads like there are Zero Alums from any Oregon clubs, but in time there may someday be one or two.

No youth club in america is called an alum of a league they play in during a seasonal year.
That’s like saying Jesuit HS players are alums of the OSAA. Good one.

You can be an alum of a club or college absolutely.

Thanksgiving all right, we got the Turkey early from the US Club braintrust.

    LOL

Go back and read original post. It says "ECNL Alums". WOW if ignorance is bliss, you must be really happy.

You are an idiot. Here are the exact words from the ECNL website

“The ECNL College Impact is measured by the number of ECNL alumni that have moved on to collegiate soccer”

Please try to 'buy' into our twisted, warped, bizarre & non-linear associations, hopefully you understand what we are trying to sell/salvage before our eminent demise.

So for consistency & clarity sake.
From this day forward, this is how everyone we will be identified:

At the completion of our HS season: we shall be identified as only 'OSAA Alums'
Never again will you dare call us 'Jesuit HS Alums'.

At the completion of our club USYS National League season we shall be identified as only ''USYS' Nat League Alums'.
Never again will you dare call us 'GPS Alums'

At the completion of our OYSA/USYS season we shall be identified as only 'OYSA/USYS League Alums'
Never again will you dare call us 'PCU Alums'

At the completion of our playing days at Concordia University we shall be identified as only 'NCAA Division 2 Alums'
Never again will you dare call us' Concordia University Alums'

Naming yourself an 'Alum' from league is not only weird it makes no sense to anyone with brain matter.

Your Oregon club team can play in a USYS or US Club Soccer league absolutely.

What is freaking wrong with you folks? Are things really that twisted at your local club where you use the name of US Club kiddie league instead of the name of club name as your Ala mater?

          Identity crisis ---is an understatement.

Congrats to the other clubs across the nation that feed the power conferences.

            Happy Thanksgiving.

The DA is not to be confused with a US Club or USYS league offering open to all clubs.

If a player is worried about exposure than attend a handful of appropriate ID Camps which will give coaches a longer look, vs a snapshot at the national meat markets.

                    Many ways to be seen.

Would say it's all about how you advertise to get looks because everything becomes a market around age 15.

Saw a guy the other day who played in the NFL and played for the New England Patriots and he was wearing a shirt with the NFL crest and it said “NFL Alum”

Cant be Alum only applies when referring to College grad. I read that on Talking Soccer once.

                          "a Harvard alumnus"

a former member of a group, company, or organization.
                          "a Royal Ballet alumnus"

You saw a professional athlete who was paid millions to perform in front of thousands live.
Only the best of the best get paid millions to play a sport.

Compared to when you see a kid whose parents paid thousands to have her club team play in a kiddo non-profit sports league, that ilk is called many things. None of which is alum.
